Refund Policy
This English text is provided for your convenience. The Korean version is the binding original, and it prevails if the two differ.
Article 1 (Seller)
Paid subscriptions to toodoori are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited as the Merchant of Record. Payment, tax, invoicing, and refund handling all go through Paddle, and Paddle is the business name shown on the checkout screen and on your receipts.
Article 2 (You Can Try It Free First)
toodoori has a free plan. You can use the core features without paying and decide from there. We would rather you tried it properly before paying. That is easier for both of us than going through a refund.
Article 3 (Full Refund Within 14 Days)
If you ask within 14 days of the payment date, we refund you in full, without asking why.
- We refund whether or not you used it.
- You do not need to explain a reason.
- This applies to both monthly and yearly subscriptions.
- It applies to automatic renewal charges in the same way. If you ask within 14 days of a renewal charge, we refund it in full.
Article 4 (After 14 Days)
Monthly subscription
After 14 days we do not refund a period already paid for. You can cancel at any time instead, and once you cancel you are not charged again from your next payment date onwards. You keep access for the rest of the period you have paid for.
Yearly subscription
If you only cancel, you keep the remaining period through to the end and there is no refund. If you would like a refund for the remaining period, please request it separately.
When you request one, we refund the amount for the period remaining, calculated pro rata by day. Your access to paid features ends when the refund is processed.
- How it is calculated: the amount you paid for the year, divided by 365, multiplied by the number of days remaining between the date you ask and the date the subscription would have ended.
- The day you ask counts as used.
- Amounts below one won are dropped.
- Example: you paid KRW 39,000 for a year on 1 January and ask for a refund on 15 May. 231 days remain, so we refund KRW 24,682.
Article 5 (When Something Was Wrong With the Service)
In the cases below we refund regardless of how much time has passed. There is no deadline for asking.
- Where an outage made normal use difficult, or a stated feature did not work: we refund the amount for that period. Where the outage was long or repeated so that continuing to use the service was difficult, we refund the full amount for the remaining period.
- Where a payment was duplicated or charged in error: we refund the amount charged in error.
We also refund regardless of how much time has passed where someone under 19 paid without their legal representative's consent.
Article 6 (How to Request a Refund)
There are two routes. Use whichever is easier for you.
- Ask through the inquiry feature inside the service
- Ask Paddle directly (the link in your receipt email, or paddle.net)
We decide whether a refund is approved by applying the criteria in this Policy, and an approved refund is executed through Paddle as the seller.
We reply within 3 business days of your request. After a refund is approved, the money can take 5 to 10 calendar days to reach you depending on your payment method. That period is the processing time of your card issuer and bank, and we cannot speed it up.
Article 7 (Your Data After a Refund)
A refund does not delete your data.
Your access to paid features stops, but the projects, tasks, and records you created stay as they are. You can keep using them on the free plan and export them at any time. If you also delete your account, your data is deleted under Article 9 of the Terms of Service (/terms).
Article 8 (Cancelling Your Subscription)
You can cancel it yourself at any time in your account settings. There is no inquiry or approval step. Once you cancel you are not charged again from your next payment date onwards, and unless you also request a refund you keep the period you have already paid for through to the end.
Article 9 (If You Delete Your Account)
If you delete your account during a paid subscription, the subscription is cancelled immediately. Refunds work as follows.
- Yearly subscription: we refund the amount for the remaining period on the basis set out in Article 4. Within 14 days of the payment date, however, we refund in full under Article 3. Either way this is handled automatically, without a separate request.
- Monthly subscription: we do not refund a period already paid for. Within 14 days of the payment date, however, we refund in full under Article 3.
How your data is handled on deletion follows Article 9 of the Terms of Service (/terms). Deleting your account deletes your data, so we suggest exporting anything you want to keep beforehand.
Article 10 (Currency, Tax, and Receipts)
- Refunds are based on the currency and amount you paid. If you paid in a currency other than Korean won, you are refunded in that currency, and the equivalent in Korean won may differ from what it was at the time of payment, because exchange rates move.
- The refund amount includes the tax charged at payment.
- Payment receipts and invoices are issued by Paddle as the seller. Korean tax invoices and cash receipts are not issued.
Article 11 (Changes to This Policy)
If this Policy changes, we will give notice inside the service 7 days before the change takes effect. A subscription you have already paid for is governed by the Policy as it stood at the time of payment.
